She’s Coming in Three Months
We have been told so many times that pregnancy just “flies right by” and is “over before you know it”. I beg to differ. It seems like my wife has been pregnant for years and I can’t wait for the baby to be born.
We have tried for 4 years to have a baby. This was after two failed adoptions after fostering children. We didn’t necessarily want to go the man in the can route, but circumstances dictated that we have two uteruses and we might as well use them to have a baby.
So, now that she is pregnant with a little girl, we are getting the house ready. The nursery is still full of my books and it is either the books or me, so I’d better start donating some of these books quickly.
I am getting really excited that our baby will be arriving in three months. I can’t wait to meet her and I wonder what she will look like. As I said, we used a man in the can, that we ordered through the mail. Even I think it is quite weird and I am part of it. He signed up at the cryobank, we liked his profile, we ordered his product. Sometimes you do what you have to do in order to have a family or in his case to make some extra money for school.
All that aside, I just can’t wait for her to come. I’ve been wanting a family for so long and finally, finally I will have a daughter. I needed to have one before I was no longer able to get on the floor with her or had to balance her on my walker!
